It all depends on your clinical circumstance and if you are "implant-ready". What this means is that you have (a) enough jaw bone scaffolding to house the implants, (b) if you have enough room for the final implant crown and its components and (c) if your mouth is free from dental disease. A small percentage of patients who come to see us seeking dental implants may not be "implant-ready" and for this reason may need routine dental care before commencing dental implant treatment.
Implant dentistry is delivered in two main stages:
1. The surgical stage, whereby the implants are inserted into the jawbone
2. The restorative stage- this is when we start making the crown, bridgework or the fixed dentures on top of the implants. The surgical and restorative stages are usually a few months apart, therefore dental implant payment can be split into two halves.
A fully restored single tooth implant with a crown starts from £1550. We also have dentists who refer their patients to us for implant treatment and the cost of this per implant starts from £925 or £1350 with a white acrylic crown). We highly recommend the surgical stage to be carried out under conscious sedation. There is usually an additional cost to this, but if the patient is have multiple implants then we usually work out a discounted package deal to suit the patient's budget. We also offer Interest-Free Pay Monthly plans.
